USNR is a worldwide leader in sawmill machinery design and manufacturing. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic shipper/receiver to join our team in Salmon Arm, BC Canada. You will work in partnership with the purchasing / outsource and warehouse teams in fulfilling customers orders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ASSOCIATED DUTIES: - Participate in straightforward projects or duties including material handling, packaging, manual and computerized inventory control - Receiving products, matching packing slips to incoming products, inspection of incoming goods - Preparing bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents - Loading and unloading trucks, as required
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Previous experience with forklifts, pallet jacks and other pickers is an asset - Customs experience an asset - Dangerous Goods Certification an asset - Basic computer skills and comfortable with MS Windows® - Organization and attention to detail is a MUST - Knowledge of MRP systems an asset - Must have a valid driver’s license - Must be able to lift heavy items on a daily basis - Ability to work in a fast paced environment - Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
