CNM offers a complete Optimized Trimmer System for both new and retrofit installations. Our success with Trimmer systems is well known, and we are constantly improving with innovations like the Revolver Lug Loader. Our state-of-the-art Optimization is rich with features based on requests from our customers.

Positioning Fence & Transfer

Our Trimmer Positioning Fence positions lumber accurately at very high speeds. Stacked air cylinders enable the standard 3-stage fence to make end trim adjustments of up to -23" from the 0" saw in 1" increments. Standard models handle material sizes from 1"x3" to 4"x12", at lengths from 6' to 26'.

Fence speeds can be increased with additional stages. For very high speed installations, additional saws are added to the trimmer to reduce the amount of setback required which also reduces the lumber bounceback.

Optional hydraulic or roller screw linear positioners for 1/10" fence resolution.

Lineshaft Trimmer

Our Lineshaft Trimmer provides end trim and cut back to an accurate board length. The universal design of the Trimmer allows it to be installed into existing systems, non-optimized production lines or as an integral part of an optimized Trimmer/Sorter line. The system is designed for reliability and is capable of operating at speeds over 150 LPM.

Low Profile Trimmer

Increased safety, accessibility and production were the driving considerations for designing our Low Profile Trimmer. Standing at a compact overall height of 5'-2 ½", it allows excellent lines of sight. Top doors open to provide safe access to the spacious saw change and maintenance area, and act as guardrails for maintenance functions. The Low Profile Trimmer is easily installed into existing systems, non-optimized production lines or as an integral part of an optimized Trimmer/Sorter line.

• Product length: 4'-20' in 1' increments
• Rigid construction ensures precise high speed operation with minimal vibration
• -ft. Saw spacing offers accurate ending, accommodates specialized lumber products and allows shorter transfers
• Air lift saw ladder actuation allows high speed and eliminates need for hydraulic power units
• One standard 10 hp. motor powers each pair of saws. Each pair of saw ladders is mounted independently - no line shaft or couplers
